The Data Highlighter is a tool that helps activists and civil society organizations more easily scan and record cases of feminicide.
A browser extension from the MIT Data + Feminism lab in collaboration with feminicide data collection activists. The extension provides functionality for highlighting words in news articles, including auto-detected names, places, and dates, and custom-defined words. It also allows specifying a link to an external spreadsheet/database that is opened alongside the browser window to facilitate easier recording.
