I was very excited when it did not ask for any permissions, but it did not work for me :-(

Doesnt work for me. The copy still gets url escaped characters like %22

`%22` is `"`. If your URL is like `https://foo.com/"bar"` and you paste it into an email (gmail) then after linkification (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/linkification) your recipient will get `https://foo.com/"bar"` where clickable URL is just `https://foo.com/` and `"bar"` is plain text. I call such symbols URL terminators. Currently I encoded them to be `<>{}()[]"\`'.,;:!?-` but I may change it in the future. You can disable encoding of URL terminators in the options menu (right click on the icon -> uncheck "If to encode URL terminators"). But you will still get some symbols (whitespace and `%`, e.g.) encoded in the results because otherwise your final link will be broken.
