Overview

Citrix Workspace app for ChromeOS

What’s new in 2402 Compatible with Google ChromeOS v121 - Short name for store URLs Previously, you were able to see the store URLs, but there was no provision for IT administrators or end users to add or modify the store names. This arrangement made it difficult for the administrators and users to remember the store URLs. Starting with the 2402 release, for managed users, administrators can push a custom store name along with the store URL from Google Admin Console. This feature makes it easier for users to identify the different stores. Additionally, the administrator can decide if the user can edit the store name or not by setting the attribute allowEditStoreName to true or false. For BYOD users, the store name is auto-generated. For example, Store, Store 1, Store 2, and so on. The stores are discovered using the email-based store discovery feature. Users can edit the store name as required. Fixed issue in 2402 - In kiosk mode, sessions might not start automatically even when the Auto launch desktop setting is enabled in StoreFront. - When you enable the service continuity feature, and click Reconnect to Workspace, in the sign-in screen Use Workspace offline banner doesn't appear. - When you enable the service continuity feature and the cloud deployment outage occurs, the Citrix Workspace app icon appears on the Chrome shelf instead of the actual desktop session's icons. - Citrix Workspace app icon appears on the Chrome shelf instead of the actual desktop session’s icons. The issue occurs when you enable the service continuity feature and the cloud deployment outage occurs. - When you copy and paste files using Client Drive Mapping functionality from your local device to the VDA and conversely, data might get corrupted. This issue is fixed. However, if you attempt to modify files inside the mapped drive from VDA might still result in data corruption. - In a session, the mouse clicks might become unresponsive. Known issues in 2402 - When you download files or reports using Client Drive Mapping functionality from your local device to the VDA and conversely, the data might get corrupted. - On cloud deployments, when session reliability triggers upon network disconnect, the store page goes blank or an infinite spinner appears. Limitations - When you transfer files using Client Drive Mapping functionality from your local device to the VDA and conversely, data might get corrupted. - When you start a desktop session using Citrix Workspace app, green blocks are visible on the display screen that blocks the UI. The issue might occur when you move an application window inside the launched desktop. I love Epic. However, sometimes the fonts reset itself and its too small. Wish they had more themes to chose from. Also a more in depth class to show all its functionalities
