Once installed, The browser extension provides visual notifications to indicate whether a site is malicious or not. Additionally, for domains engaging in malicious, phishing, and scam, the plugin will block access to the domain and present the user with a block page.

Thanks, CIRA, for the Canadian Shield and keeping Canadians safe! My family has been using the CIRA Shield DNS for years. It works like a charm completely in the background. You won't know it's there. And this browser extension protects when being on the road and connecting to public Wifi spots. Highly recommended :-)
