Chrome Connectivity Diagnostics is a fast and simple network testing and troubleshooting tool for Chrome and ChromeOS. This tool will test the computer's network connection for common issues, port blocking, and network latency by establishing connections to different network and internet services via UDP, TCP, HTTP and HTTPS. Below is a list of all the available tests: Local network connection is available Wifi network signal strength (ChromeOS Only) Default gateway is reachable (ChromeOS Only) DNS server availability and latency DNS name resolution results are valid and not poisoned Internet traffic is not blocked by a HTTP captive portal Internet traffic is not blocked by a firewall on port 80 Internet traffic is not blocked by a firewall on port 443 Network performance and latency to Google websites Google Hangouts service availability By installing this item, you agree to the Google Terms of Service and Privacy Policy at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/
