Helps you manage canned replies in Gmail and everywhere else on the web
Canned Replies is a productivity tool that makes it quicker and easier to send the messages you send often. Use Canned Replies to create a set of commonly-used text snippets, and easily access these from within Gmail, or from the context menu and browser popup. FEATURES Gmail-optimized experience: Use Canned Replies from within your Gmail compose window. Canned Replies adds a button into the Gmail compose toolbar so you can quickly access your messages in context to the email you’re sending. Simply click on the desired message and it’ll be inserted into the email at your cursor. Context Menu: Insert a text snippet via the context menu. Just right click (or control click) on any editable field and click the desired Canned Reply to insert it. Browser bar popup: Canned Replies offers a popup window from your browser bar for all other use cases. Use the popup to copy the snippet onto your clipboard. This is useful if a website does not support native context menus, or if you’d like to paste your messages into an external application. VERSIONS 3.0.0 – Upgrades to Chrome manifest V3 to align with Chrome's updated security practices. Also fixes the bug where the button stopped working in Gmail. 2.0.0 – A revamped Canned Replies popup that includes the ability to search for your messages. Also includes bug fixes and accessibility improvements.

All my saved replies have vanished over the weekend and now I can't save any new ones.

Hi Anthony Jackson, the extension uses Chrome Storage API's in order to save your data. Your data is stored only client-side on your browser, and if you use multiple instances of Chrome, you need to have Chrome sync enabled. None of your messages are stored on any servers. When you uninstall and reinstall, your data is lost. This is a limitation of the Chrome extension platform. Is it possible you did that? When you say you can't save new ones, what error are you getting? Are you saying that you have no messages showing up and you cannot add new ones? If so, this isn't a bug that has been reported in the past. If you are interested in helping me debug this, please send me an email at info@tinaciousdesign.com as I'd love to get this fixed. I'll need more information like version of Chrome and which operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux).

not working from last 3-4 days in gmail

Hi Rajendra Dubey, thanks for your bringing this to my attention. The extension was not updated recently so this is not a bug that was introduced into Canned Replies but rather the environment in which it runs, in this case Gmail. I suspect this is occurring due to developers at Google working on Gmail having changed the HTML of the compose window. I will look into fixing this. Considering that you can still use 2 out of the 3 other methods available from this extension, I'd kindly ask you to reconsider your 1-star review. You can use the popup in your browser toolbar which copies it to your clipboard, allowing you to paste it. For ease of use, you can pin the extension so it shows up in the toolbar. Alternatively, you can use the context menu feature which will inject it into any compatible text input (the Gmail compose window's input is compatible at this time). Those are the 2 options still available to you until the embedded Gmail option is updated to reflect Gmail's new HTML. In the future, feel free to report bugs to info@tinaciousdesign.com. Please keep in mind that the nature of extensions like this are subject to the environment in which they run, i.e. if Google changes dependent HTML the extension will no longer be able to find the right elements in order to inject itself into the page.
