Launch your essential bookmarks from the toolbar, or with keyboard shortcuts
Set up your HotList in the Bookmarks Manager, access it from the toolbar in a choice of List and Grid layouts.
* Now with Bookmarklet support *
For keyboard access, the default shortcut to open the extension is Alt+B (or Command+B). To change the shortcut, paste this into the address bar: chrome://extensions/configureCommands
When the extension is open, shortcut keys (1-9 and A-Z) are defined next to each bookmark.
Bookmarks HotList asks for 2 permissions: (1) to read and change your bookmarks, and (2) to access the icons of the websites that you visit. Both of these are necessary for the core functionality of the extension, which is to display a set of your bookmarks and their associated icons.
The only automated modification to your bookmarks will be the creation of a new folder to contain those displayed by this extension, and a bookmark to get you started.
No personal data will be transferred across the internet. Configuration settings will be synced across all your computers if that is enabled in the browser.
