Don't let Booking.com stress you into a premature purchase
Booking.com is a great place to find a hotel anywhere in the world. It's also a site that uses a huge amount of nudges to create a sense of urgency, busying up the pages and making the whole experience feel stressful. The Booking.com De-stresser improves the experience by removing these nudges, and re-wording certain messages so that they sound less anxiety-inducing. You can tailor the level of filtering so that some notifications get through, such as when only one room is left, or you can have it so that you see none at all. Hotels that are sold out for selected dates are hidden completely. When the Extension has re-worded a phrase, you'll see a 'calm' emoji at the start of the sentence so that you're aware. It doesn't collect any information about you or what you're searching for on Booking.com, and it won't mess with anything important like form fields. Got used to having it - only noticed how bad booking is without it when I used friend's device.
