A book creating idle game that is made for chrome.
This app is a book writing game that is intended for personal amusement. The best operating system for this app is chrome os but it should still work on other operating systems as long as they support chrome. If you have any issues please go to "https://github.com/dragonloverlord/book-game/issues/new" as I will not be checking reviews regularly. Now most importantly of all enjoy the game! EDIT! this game will be undergoing some significant changes as I have decided to transition it to an idle game.

I was hoping that the books would continue making money after they were created, once you reached a certain point in quality/renown or made it past the point where it had made more money than the initial publisher's check

You click on a book genre, then watch a progress bar load. When it fills, you get some 'money' and asked if you want to name your book. It doesn't matter if you do or not. You then get to do it again. You can only have one 'book' going at a time, and it does nothing afterward, so there's really no "idle" element to this. This isn't as much a game as an exercise in poor UI design. Progress Quest is more interesting, and it has less interaction.
