Overview

Based purely on Alan Cowap's 'New Tab Blank Black Page' extension

Replaces new tab with just blank html page with backgroud-color set to #000000. Additionally it provides (black) png icons as recommended by chrome store. There absolutely NOTHING to it except that it allows you to have empty page loading.
