Author Sanity Saver for GR

This extension helps authors avoid reading traumatic goodreads reviews

Saving author sanity by only showing certain reviews on GR. This is a Chrome extension to scrape review text and only display either 5 star or 4 and 5 star reviews from a book's goodreads page. Highly recommended for authors who are desperately curious. v1.0 is VERY BASIC. It pops up a window with two buttons, and displays reviews as plain text in a scrolling subwindow. To use: 1. Navigate to your book's Goodreads page 2. Click on extensions (the puzzle icon next to the address bar), then choose this extension's logo: a gold star with 'g' in the middle. 3. Click on the "5 Star Only" for best mental health, or "Feeling Lucky" if you want to see 4 & 5 star reviews. 4. Look at the text in pop up window for your good reviews. NOTE1: this app does NOT change the default Goodreads page display, so if you scroll down, you will still see all of your reviews, including the negative ones. Just stick to the text in the pop-up window that the extension creates and you should be fine. NOTE2: this version only pulls the reviews from the default Goodreads page, which means it doesn't give you the newest review text. I'm working on getting newest first as an option.
