The PDFfiller Google Chrome extension enables you to annotate PDF documents in the PDFfiller editor with one click. Save time by eliminating the need to download attachments, save and search for files, or upload documents to your account!
Simply click the “Fill” button when it appears on an email attachment or online, and a fillable version of the PDF will instantly open in the PDFfiller editor ready for you to annotate. PDFfiller has to offer you powerful annotation tools including Text Box, Sticky Note, Erase, Highlight, Blackout, Arrow, Line, and Draw.
To use PDFfiller Chrome Extension in Gmail, navigate to a PDF attachment, and click the fill button. Use PDFfiller to annotate your document and share via email or SMS. Or, search for a document you need and an orange fill button will appear next to any PDFs in the results. Easily annotate, email or fax your documents. You can even add a PDF directly from a website. Just click the orange fill button and the linked PDF will open in PDFfiller, where you can annotate your documents.
To annotate a PDF document using a text box, please select "Text Box" on the toolbar and click where you'd like to place the box in the document. To resize the text box, drag its corners or edges; to change the color of its border, click the color icon that says "Box" on the formatting toolbar and select the color that you want; to change the color of the box itself click "Background" and choose the color.
To enter text into the box, click inside and start typing. To change the font type, click the box with the current font name on the formatting toolbar and choose from the dropdown menu. You can change the font size by clicking the number right next to the font and selecting from the dropdown list. To underline your text, to make it bold or italic, use the "U", "B", and "I" icons. To change the text color, click the color box on the right of the font tools and select the color you want.
To add comments in a sticky note, simply select "Sticky" and click where you'd like to place the note. To resize the note, drag its corners or edges; to change its color, click the yellow icon that says "Box" and select the color you want.
To enter your comment, click inside the note and start typing. You can format text using the same tools that we mentioned above. You can always easily remove a sticky note or a text box from the document. To do this, just click it and then click the trash icon.
