Tested on Chrome OS. The vast mayority of symbols show up, including emojis. Took a bit to discover, but the bold white vertical bar on the top of the window, if you click it, it brings up a search entry, and that is what makes it powerful. I was about to ditch it because I couldn't search for specific characters, but luckily I found this function and now it's a keeper.

It works, but the icons are way too small, a many of the symbols don't work. Chrome itself doesn't have problems displaying the craziest characters.
