Helps to find the meaning of any English/Indian Language word in the browser
This Extension helps you to find the meaning of an English/Indian Language word in both English and respective language.
Following are the Indian Languages supported by the extension
How To Use:
After Installation Restart the browser. You can configure the Indian language preference in the options page. You can click the ‘Agaram’ icon next to the url bar and type the word in the textbox to get the meaning of it. Textbox will allow you to transliterate English words to the preferred language when ctrl+g is pressed. In case if the given word doesn't have an entry in English/Indian Language dictionary, the corresponding section will not be displayed. For ease of use, double clicking on English/Preferred Language word on the browser will display a tooltip with their meanings. The DoubleClick tooltip utility can be enabled/disabled in the options page. Using the Close icon or simply clicking outside the tooltip will close the tooltip.
- Entries other than those found in Google Dictionary might get added (Agaram basically uses Google Dictionary API to fetch the dictionary results and hence limited to the entries found in the Google Dictionary)
- Morphological analysis of Indian Language words has to be enhanced as to trace the derived words to the corresponding root words .
