Allows use of native eidReader plugin from Chrome
Chrome extension allowing native messaging with a native Eid reader plugin. The native Eid reader plugin allows to retrieve data, authenticate or sign with a Belgian eID card using a PC/SC complient Smart card reader. This only works for websites integrating with the UnifiedPost Eid solution and after installing the native Eid reader plugin software.

Werkt niet ! Doesn't work, seems to be outdated for years.

Doesn't work. Only shows an empty window when trying to read the eID card. That window seems to come from FireWyrmNativeMessageHost.exe which itself seems fishy. In addition this plugin - as too many others - is again written in Java and again drags along its own bulky JRE. In short: it's shameful that something thrown together like this is used for secure business by some renomated Belgian institutions (like ING).
