Access about:memory with one click
Click the icon and you'll go to about:memory. In this page, you can control the memory that Chrome consumes
You can go to this page without this extension, but the way is harder; you have to key "about:memory", and if you use this page usually, this extension will be so useful for you!

The private, shared and total memory; the private and mapped virtual memory of Chrome (and also, other browsers!) and the independent tabs, extensions and plugins (please note that the firsts "tabs" that they haven't title, they are extensions, NOT tabs)
